Socitm Futures is the group responsible for the formulation of policy on behalf of the Society. The group's remit is to undertake research and “Horizon Scanning” activities and recommend policy to the NAC. Although Socitm Futures must respond t the NAC as the main body responsible for members’ interests, it will have a degree of autonomy to enable it to respond quickly to change.
