Better connected 2008 reviews the last 10 years’ of local authority web development and includes a series of expert predictions about developments we can expect to see in the next 10 years.
Other highlights include results of usability testing of third party software, tests of access from mobile devices, and registration facilities. The report also provides an update on an earlier survey 15 months ago about which council answerphone messages refer callers to their websites – in 2006 just one in five councils did so.
