LGDC will help join up central and local initiatives on transformation

The new Local Government Delivery Council will play an important role in joining up central and local transformation initiatives including clearing obstacles to local public services sharing front offices.
Speaking about the LGDC at Socitm Insight’s recent one day conference on local government transformation, LGDC member and Chorley Chief Executive Donna Hall (pictured left) said the LGDC would also be challenging central government to get right the transformation frameworks, including performance indicators, RIEPs, the contact centre performance framework, CAAs, etc. You can see slides from Donna Hall’s presentation and those of other speakers on this website.
